2012-09-24 - What Would Euodia Say?
I plead with Euodia, and I plead with Syntyche, to agree with each other in the Lord.(Philippians 4:2)
Paul begged me to agree with Syntyche. It wasn't that simple. Syntyche was not trying to make amends with me either, so our quarrel continued. I do want the squabble resolved. I don't like having a disagreement.
Paul asked other workers to rally round Syntyche and me. Ah, reinforcement. I just want this nastiness behind us, so we can return to God's work. Perhaps by having neutral parties involved, it can put a new light to the fallout. I am willing, if Syntyche is.
Lord, Help me make a conscious effort not to become too self-absorbed. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
