Today is Friday, the conclusion of the work week for many of us. By the end of a long week, we are usually tired and weary. Our bodies and minds are worn out, from dealing with the daily grind of life. We are looking for some rest. In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus tells us of the rest that He gives us when we turn to Him. But Jesus is not talking only of physical rest but, more importantly, spiritual rest. Jesus takes away the weariness that results from our sinful lives. Jesus came to Earth to pay the price for our transgressions. And, most importantly, Jesus doesn't grow weary of our failures. Each day, He forgives us of our sins and renews our souls. So don't grow weary in your sins. Turn to Jesus, our Lord and Savior. He will take away your weariness, and give you new strength.
