2017-04-03 - Being a Peacemaker
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27 NIV)
At times, you may know you are doing God’s will, but you may feel like giving up, and may have no energy left to fight. It is in these moments that Psalm 55:22 encourages us to walk in peace and confidence. The verse tells us to give God our burdens, and He will not allow us to stumble or fall.
How blessed and honored to be chosen by God. God knows our abilities and personalities better than anyone else does, including ourselves. How can fear, worry, or indecision get a foothold ,when God promises to be with you wherever you go? (see Joshua 1:5)
Lord, I make You my dwelling place. I believe You can set things right. I have faith. Please let my faith be enough for You to work in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen
