God's Favor Shown Toward the Poor
(1 Sam 2:8 NNAS) He raises the poor from the dust, He
lifts the needy from the ash heap To make them sit with nobles, And inherit
a seat of honor; For the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, And He set
the world on them.

cries, The poor also, and him who has no helper.

not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom

in a poor man in filthy clothes, and you pay attention to the one wearing
the fine clothes and say to him, "You sit here in a good place," and say
to the poor man, "You stand there," or, "Sit here at my footstool," have
you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
God's Justice Regarding Our Treatment of the Poor
(Prov 19:17 NKJV) He who has pity on the poor lends to
the LORD, And He will pay back what he has given.
(Prov 21:13 NKJV) Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of
the poor Will also cry himself and not be heard.
(Prov 22:9 NKJV) He who has a generous eye will be blessed,
For he gives of his bread to the poor.
(Prov 22:16 NKJV) He who oppresses the poor to increase
his riches, And he who gives to the rich, will surely come to poverty.
