Gospel for Asia - Gospel literature
is the #1 tool on the field. In many parts of Asia, literature is scarce.
People are eager to accept any printed materials. This makes Gospel tracts
extremely effective. They are passed from person to person and are almost
never thrown away. If you are interested in this area of GFA's ministry please
email us (info@gfa.org), and we will send
you more information.

Missions - Christian Persecution |
Think we American Christians have it rough? I'm not saying that promotions
aren't missed and discrimination doesn't go on. But, try Sudan where Christians
are martyred daily by soldiers fighting in that countries bloody civil war.
Children are taken from their parents. There are reports that sometime in
the Oct/Nov 1998 timeframe, 200 Christians were crucified in Egypt.
John 16:32-33 "Behold, an hour is coming, and has already
come, for you to be scattered, each to his own home, and to leave Me alone;
and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.
33 "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may
have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome
the world." (NAS)

Missions - Relief of Suffering |
It is estimated by some that over 1 million people may have already starved
to death in the famine in North Korea. While there are arguments that their
isolationist government has brought this on, the people are still dead. Their
eternal destiny is sealed, for good or for ill. There are people who are
so hungry that they must first be fed before they can hear the Gospel.

Samaritan's Purse
This is a ministry based on the story of the Good Samaritan. They go to places
stricken by war, famine and natural disaster giving food and shelter in Jesus'
name. The good news of the Gospel comes with the food and care. |
|
Missions - Children |
These are two of the finest Christian organizations that reach out to
children and their families around the world. They both take a one on one
approach where an individual or family is linked with a child and his or
her family. Food, clean water, clothing, education and the love of Jesus
Christ changes life for one child at a time.
We want to support both of these fine groups, but do not wish to favor one
or the other. They both do an excellent job in a very similar way in the
same area of ministry. Take a moment to visit these excellent sites. If the
Lord has blessed you to where you can afford to support a child, the blessings
that come back to you will far outweigh any monetary expense you incur.

Missions - Prisoners and their Families |
Men and women who are incarcerated have lots of time to consider their
past and their eternal future. These are often people our society has forgotten
or cast aside. But there are men and women called by God to reach out to
these people who need Jesus as Savior as badly as anyone else. The families
are also affected deeply. Here are a few groups that are trying to break
what is often a cycle of crime and make a difference in this world for Jesus
Christ.
|
Missions - Persons with Disabilities |
I was once told that these are not 'disabled people', they are 'special
people'. In either case, they are people with needs and contributions to make like
you and me. Reaching out to any one group of people often requires a special
gift. This group is no different. But the reaching still needs to be done
to people who want to live past their disabilities and contribute. Here are
a few that are doing just that.

Accountability. |
