Greeting in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ my Friends,

Our scripture reference comes from David

Psalm 90:1-10 Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. 2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. 3 You turn men back to dust, saying, "Return to dust, O sons of men." 4 For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night. 5 You sweep men away in the sleep of death; they are like the new grass of the morning - 6 though in the morning it springs up new, by evening it is dry and withered. 7 We are consumed by your anger and terrified by your indignation. 8 You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence. 9 All our days pass away under your wrath; we finish our years with a moan. 10 The length of our days is seventy years - or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.

The focal scripture in this passage, from the Psalm that I want to talk about, is verse four.

"For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night."

According to this verse, one day to God is like a thousand years to man. It's a lot like the thing with people and dogs; when one of our days passes by, a dog has aged seven days.

Do you know what that means? According to one of God's days, it will only be 20 minutes, or a blink of an eye to God, when you die and you enter either Heaven or Hell. Wow, that's amazing! Therefore, this provokes the question, which one is your destiny, is it Heaven or Hell - or are you not sure?

If you say Heaven, why do you believe that you are going to Heaven?

If you are not sure what you destiny is, would you like to know for sure that you are going to go to Heaven? If so, ask God to save you through Jesus Christ's sacrifice, then tell your pastor. If you need assistance, write a staff member of this devotionals staff.

In Christ,
